I haven’t done a Random Television Show Post in awhile so here goes-I shall start with the positive and end with the negative:

First, my prayers go out to all of the people hurt and killed at the Navy Yard in D.C. today--a very frightening day.

And second, I need to talk about TV and my hopes for the upcoming season:

I liked the episode but than again I adore any episode that highlights the awesomeness of Scotty Caan’s Danny Williams.  ( Allow me to squee... )

I must say that work life without Uncle Johnny has been very pleasant and stress free.  I hadn’t realized how loud and obnoxious he was until his absence.

( Now onto the episode squee )

As soon as I see that it's going to be a Doris episode, my interest starts to plummet.

( The show does realize that this is February sweeps right? )

I appreciated that the show went with the retro credits-I liked the bigger and brighter lettering but the episode itself felt kind of off.
